VSO PhotoDVD is a slideshow and DVD burning application that will help you create sleek photo slideshows and burn them to DVD so you can share them with friends and family.
VSO PhotoDVD is easy to use and generally intuitive. It uses a wizard to guide you through the process: add your photos (drag & drop or use the file > add file(s) option), then apply effects and music, and finally burn them to DVD. Of course, you can preview your slideshow at any point to make sure it is turning out the way you want.
VSO PhotoDVD has plenty of settings, both technical and aesthetic. You can choose between NTSC and PAL coding and tweak image specs and properties, as well as adding photo transition effects, subtitles and a soundtrack. Once you are happy with your creation, the VSO PhotoDVD wizard prompts you to burn it to disc. There is even a label editor, to make sure the end product really shines.
VSO PhotoDVD has a help file, but it must be downloaded separately, and although the program uses a wizard to guide you, it requires some familiarity with slideshow editing programs and is probably not suitable for total beginners. On other hand, the effects it provides are sweet, but not very advanced, so anyone aware of the variety of slideshow effects that exist is probably not going to be happy with the limited range offered by VSO PhotoDVD.
